PORPHYRAL HSP®: PORPHYRAL HSP® is an ingredient patented by PiLeJe, extracted from Porphyra umbilicalis, a hand-harvested edible seaweed species. Porphyra umbilicalis is purple-brown in color and becomes almost black at low tide. When it is covered again by the ocean, it returns to its normal color. Like many plants that live in a hostile environment, it has adapted to survive and thrive in this environment.
